Shadow Detectives
After weeks of waiting, the sun eventually came out and we were able to complete our shadow experiment. Carrying out a fair test we measured our shadows at different times of the day and recorded the differences of the length of our shadows. The results were amazing!!!
Year 7 had a blast making their own rockets. They worked in teams to see what reaction air had as a force.
Well done to the Year 7 pupils and their parents for designing and creating such imaginative Halloween hats! We had great fun modelling our spooky creations!
Cancer Focus Visit
Louise from Cancer Focus visited our class to remind us about the dangers of smoking. We took part in role play situations learning how to 'Say No'.
Year 7 enjoyed participating in an animation workshop taken by the Colm and Laura from the Nerve Centre, Londonderry. Our theme was 'Finding Dory'. We all enjoyed watching each others' work!
Callum, Klara, Hannah and Leya Year 7 pupils who were winners in their local heat of the Northern Ireland Primary School Road Safety Quiz 2017. They now progress to the Northern Ireland Final which will take place in Belfast in February.
A big congratulations to Callum, Klara, Leya and Hannah for coming 3rd place at the N.I. Road Safety Quiz Final. You were all amazing!
KS2 Verse Speaking
Well done to everyone in Year 7 for taking part in our Verse Speaking Competition. A big thank you to Rois for listening to our poems.
Year 7 had great fun dressing up for World Book Day. See if you can name some of our characters!

Michelle Young from Ink Wing Academy has been teaching us about Shakespeare.
Our friends and family came to see us showcase our SHAKESPEARE SHENANIGANS on Friday 31st March.
We put on a modern performance of 'The Tempest'.
IT WAS A GREAT SUCCESS!!!
Year 7 pupils have recently completed the AVIVA Athletics Scheme. The pupils had to complete in five different activities. Well done to everyone!!!
K'Nex Challenge
Congratulations to Timothy, Demi, Sam and Anna for taking part in the K'Nex Challenge heat in Omagh. Good luck to Sam and Anna who have progressed to the K'Nex final which will take place in Belfast in June!!
A selection of KS2 pupils enjoyed taking part in an athletics tournament ran by Castlederg High School. Pupils had the opportunity to take part in some coaching before competing against other pupils from local schools. Well done to all those pupils who took part!!!
