Welcome to Year 5
Meet the new Year 5 pupils
WAU - Bridges Presentation
This afternoon we presented the bridges research that we have been working on this term. We have been using Google Slides to create PowerPoints, adding a range of features including images, videos, transitions and animations to make it more engaging for the listeners.
What a brilliant effort by everyone to present their work today!
World Around Us - STEM project
We were busy on Friday building bridges using recycled materials as part of our topic work. Earlier in the week we looked at different designs, identified suitable materials and came up with our own designs. They turned out fantastically well and everyone demonstrated brilliant teamwork skills.
Remembrance Day Art
This afternoon we completed a poppy using different colouring materials. We also had a lovely Remembrance service with P6, P7 and members of the Castlederg branch of the Royal British Legion.
Halloween Crafts
Check out the Halloween lanterns we made using mason jars and tissue paper.
