Year 2

 In Year 2 we all fit together...

We learn lot's of new and exciting things everyday. 

The topics we will be learning this year are:-

Meet our Year 2 class...

In September we have had lot's of fun learning about 'Wonderful Me'. 

We went on an Autumn walk and found some beautiful Autumn leaves.

Then we made lovely patterns using the leaves.  We had great fun learning outside.

Our Little Red Riding Hood trip at Gortin Glen Forest Park. 

It was great fun, we helped Little Red Riding Hood find leaves, berries, conkers, twigs and flowers to take to Grandma.  When we got to Grandma's house she had went shopping.  We enjoyed looking at all the autumn leaves and seeing the Deers.  It was a brilliant day.

In October we have been learning about 'Teeth'.  We really enjoyed finding out how to look after our teeth.  In Year 2 we will all now have Healthy Teeth and no sweets or juice!!!

Toys and Christmas

We loved learning all about toys.  We looked at old toys and new toys and designed our own toys.  We also thought about the toys that we wanted Santa to bring us.  Toys are lot's of fun.

We have been learning all about Dinosaurs, ask us a question and we will be able to tell you all the facts.  We know all about herbivores and carnivores, where dinosaur fossils were found and the size of dinosaurs.  We love Dinosaurs in Year 2
