In our Colourful World topic we made new friends.....

....Elmer, Rainbow Fish, Brown Bear and Mr Noah were some of our favourites.  Have a look of some of the fun things we got up to.

When we go down to the woods....... Year 1 had an autumnal walk in the woods at Gortin Glen Forest.  Have a look at some of our adventures.

'Christmas Counts' was the title of the Nativity Years 1 and 2 performed to a packed hall of all their family and friends.  We had lots of songs to learn, speak clearly and remember where to go on the stage....and to smile....such a lot of hard work!  Everyone said we were all 'SUPERSTARS' !! Great job and well done Year 1. Proud moments caught on camera.

Santa is coming to Edwards......what a surprise when Santa turned up to school in a rally car.....I hope he gets his sleigh fixed in time for Christmas.  He even took time to give us a present. THANK YOU SANTA

Year One are

'On the Move'.

The Easter Bunny popped into school today...look what he left for us! Thank You!  We had great fun decorating and rolling eggs ...some were like poor Humpty Dumpty and got a crack.  Happy Easter everyone!

Year 1 did a great job taking our class assembly on Friday 5th May.  We told everyone all about MONEY.  Jack, from our theme story of 'Jack and the Beanstalk,' had no money to buy food....we had a song about shopping and a play about buying food.  The children told everyone about the Bible story of the Lady who lost a coin and had to look everywhere for it.  Well done everyone in Year 1...and the lollies look good too...a well earned treat!

Jack and the Beanstalk is our topic for the next few weeks in Year 1 . We are exploring all about castles.  We had great fun building our own castle creations. A lot of team work and coordination was involved to get them just right ...... have a look at all the fun we had working together to design and build our castles.

We went on a trip to Tropical World at Alcorn's in Letterkenny. It was a lot of fun and we got to see lots of animals.
